The 4th batch of entrepreneurship development programme (EDP)conducted by Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) at Urban Haat Dimapur and sponsored by department of industries and commerce, government of Nagaland concluded on April 15.
Around 40 unemployed youths from Tuensang and Kiphire district participated and various government departments like KVIC, DIC, NIDC, NECON and others took the training classes as resource persons. During the valedictory function, Marienos Lotha, special officer DIC, Dimapur asked participants to be successful entrepreneurs in their venture for setting up of feasible project in their respective and selected location and also encouraged them to uplift the educated youth of the state for the economic development.
Participants were also advised on borrowing and recovering of loan on priority basis. Programme coordinator M.K. Handique advised participants to set up their unit on their own at the earliest and seek government assistance as per their guidelines.
G. Panmei assistant coordinator encouraged participants to work hard in their respective projects and generate talented ideas in their production. Meanwhile, Hotokali Z and Kyusepi Sangtam on behalf of the participants expressed gratitude to department of industries and IIE for their effort to uplift the educated youth and for solving employment problem in the state. The nest EDP would be held from April 18 at the same venue.
