67 students graduate from CTC

Altogether 67 students completed their respective theological courses in Clark Theological College this year. In honor of the graduates, a grand graduation service was held on Friday at the college multi-purpose court with National Council of Churches of India, General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Roger Gaikwad as the graduation speaker and MLA & Adviser, Art & Culture, Science & Technology & RNE, Deo Nokhu as guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Deo Nukhu congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to keep themselves prepared to overcome obstacles in course of working for the Lord. He also cautioned the graduates not to be choosy about the places but to serve anywhere according to the God’s direction.
The graduation speaker, Rev. Dr. Roger Gaikwad congratulated the graduates and urged them to use their theological knowledge and information to transform the ones own character to Godliness in order to confront the worldly characters of this post modern world.
Diplomas were conferred to the graduates by the CTC Board of Governors, Chairman, Rev. Dr. Anjo Keikung and consecration prayer pronounced by Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger, executive secretary, ABAM.
Earlier, CTC principal Rev. Dr. Takatemjen extended warm welcome to the guests, students, parents and well wishers present in the service and Merensola Imchen, lecturer read the scriptures and invocation. The service was conducted by Toshi Aier, senior lecturer.
Amongst the graduates, 62 students were conferred B.D degree, 2 were conferred MA in Pastoral Ministry and 3 were conferred Master of Theology.
A good number of awards and certificates were also presented to the outstanding graduating students in the various academic and other fields.
