Documentary film and brochure on Netaji released

Imprints of a Patriot -Netaji Subhas Chandra Boses’ camp at Tsüswüzu, a documentary film and brochure was released on Saturday at Kisama (Heritage Bamboo hall) by Vikho-o Yhoshü, advisor Information and Technology & Communication as the chief guest.
In his address Vikho-o Yhoshü termed the occasion as rare and precious and a befitting way of conveying message to the fellow citizens in the country that national leaders are also honoured in Nagaland.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose came up all the way to Tsüswüzu village and left behind imprints for posterity, he said.
“This is a memorable occasion and we Nagas are privileged to have met him and also host the great leader at Tsüswüzu village” he stated and opined the historical development would bring tremendous benefit for generations to come. He also wished the organizers and associates success and the best in the days to come.
In his introductory speech, Netaji committee chairman, Nüzota Swüro said the purpose of producing the brochure and documentary film was to tell the world that the great Indian National Army (INA) along with supreme commander Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose came to Tsüswüzu village.
He said the humble project was to narrate history by those who saw, attended and listened to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in Tsüswüzu village, adding the story narrated by those who saw him and spoke to Netaji are still alive. “We the people of Tsüswüzu village still cherish him” he remarked.
Parliamentary secretary for social welfare, child and women development C. Sazo was also present at the program.
Earlier, the opening prayer was led by Pastor Senüto Ringa, CRC Tsüswüzu, indigenous tune, western music, fashion and choreography also marked the program.
