Continuing to press their demand for the resignation of School Education minister Neiwang Konyak, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) will stage a dharna infront of the Raj Bhavan here Tuesday. Informing this, NPCC general secretary (Admn) Medokul Sophie said that the dharna will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. Later, a delegation of the NPCC will submit a memorandum to the Governor of Nagaland. It may be mentioned that the opposition Congress had alleged the ruling DAN government led by chief minister Neiphiu Rio was shielding tainted ministers and demanded the resignation or removal of School Education minister Neiwang Konyak on charges of corruption. The opposition made the demand during the recently concluded budget session.
