CMA to uphold prohibition act

In view of the forthcoming NSF annual conference to be held at Pfutsero town, the Chakhesang mothers association (CMA) on April 15 resolved to reaffirm its commitment to extend help to the district administration in implementing Total Prohibition Act of the state. In order to create congenial atmosphere during NSF conference from April 27-30 at Pfutsero town, the Chakhesang mothers association said it would do everything possible to stop free flow of foreign liquor and illegal drug trafficking in Phek district, particularly at Pfutsero town. The Chakhesang mothers association requested the administration and particularly law enforcing agencies and police to strictly enforce the prohibition act in the greater interest of the students and the society in general. CMA reiterated that it would be compelled to take legal actions against defaulters all in the interest of the society.
