ULFA speaks up against media vandalism

ULFA Chairman Arabinda Rajkhowa raised voice against vandalism of few media from Assam for publishing biased news with allegation on him.
In a fresh press release sent to Times of Assam, by Arabinda Rajkhowa it is said that, as published in Wednesday’s newspaper, neither he was organizing any syndicate or mafia nor any ULFA leaders nor cadres are involved with it. He also said that it was quite unfortunate and conspiracy intended by such news and to blame him and his fellows. ‘ULFA won’t bow down before any illegal business. It is more important to resolve the Indo-Assam Political Conflict than some cores of money from black markets. ULFA is liable to the greater interest of Assamese Nation and some Cores of Rupees cannot split ULFA from its Principle and ideology, Rajkhowa added.
It is to be mentioned that some of Assamese Media like Asomiya Pratidin etc published news today that Arabinda Rajkhowa and his followers are running Coal Syndicate in Guwahati. While base of the report was report was related to the incident of firing on the Mayur Talukdar’s house by Sailen Dutta Konwar happened yesterday. Mayur Talukdar is the owner of newly born Assamese daily newspaper Niyamia Barta while Sailen Dutta Konwar is the owner of another Assamese daily newspaper Assamiya Khabor.
Before the born of Niyamia Barta, Mayur Talukdar was owner of the newspaper Assamiya Khabor jointly with Sailen Dutta Konwar as along with other joint business ventures. In recent days relation between Mayur Talukdar and Sailen Dutta Konwar developed enmity and in result of this enmity Sailen Dutta Konwar fired on Talukdar’s house yesterday with AK assault rifle.
