Imchen on NPSC scam

Home minister Imkong L. Imchen Friday said that all the accused involved in the infamous NPSC answer script swapping scam were charge sheeted and presently the case was pending in the court.
The accused in the NPSC answer script swapping case vide Kohima (N) P.S were charge sheeted under No.63/2009 dated Sept. 29, 2009. Among the accused includes two NPSC employees Zavekholu Epao, asstt. supdt and Phuholi Aye, UDA whose services were terminated. The 11 candidates accused of involvement in the case were: Arayi Sumi, Kivitovi V. Yepthomi, N. Heto Yepthomi, Ayeto Swu, G.Hinatoli Assumi, Kipito Swu, V. Kaliho Sema, Allen Wobemo Jami, Tokato Yepthomi, Nusa Thisa and Daham Jurry, Imchen stated this while replying to a question raised by the opposition member Lampha Konyak during the budget session.
To a supplementary question raised by MLA, K.V. Pusa on whether the charge sheeted accused were still at large or under custody, Imchen replied that the services of the accused were terminated and that the case was presently pending in the High Court.
