Federal government of Nagaland (FGN) observed 56th Naga Republic Day on March 22 at Happy camp, Chakhesang Region. Zaleo Sapuh, “Killo Kilonser” .FGN graced the occasion as the chief guest who unfurled the Naga National flag and read out the speech on behalf of the “Kedahge” Federal government of Nagaland, “Brig” (Retd.) S. Singnya.
According to FGN ministry of “Rali Wali” joint secretary G. Zhimomi, the “government” administered on oath of office and secrecy to six in civil administration, respectively of “Kilonser”, “Rali Wali”, judge of the “Federal Mayam Riyam”, three “Tatars” of the Konyak region and “Midan Peyu” of the Sumi region.
Further, the “government” promoted ten “Naga Army officers” to the rank of “lieut.Col. Captain” and “Lieutenant” respectively.
Besides this, the government also awarded 1 military service medal, 2 military service and victory cross award to 11“Naga Army Officers”
“Leacy Hoho” golden jubilee
golden jubilee celebration of Chakhesang “Leacy Hoho” was celebrated on March 23 at Kutsapo village. The “Naga National” flag was unfurled by Zhopra Vero, “Kedallo”, FGN. He was accompanied by different dignitaries of NNC, FGN, NGO’s Church organizations and prominent leaders. On the occasion, four historical monoliths were unveiled. Monolith on ‘A brief history of Kutsapomi village contribution to NNC/FGN service” was inaugurated by Zhopra Vero, “Kedallo”, FGN, ‘Golden jubilee, Leacy Hoho, Chakhesang region” was unveiled by Zaleo Sapuh, “Killo Kilonser” FGN, “Naga National Historical Mark at Kutsapo” dedicated by Rev. Dr. V. K Nuh, general secretary, Council of Nagaland Baptist Churches and “In remembrance of Dr. A.Z Phizo’s visit” was dedicated by Suduzo Venuh senior executive members, Naga National Council. The greeting message of “Kedahge” FGN was read out by the “Khedallo” FGN. Presidents of Chakhesang Public Organisation, Chakhesang Mothers Association, Chakhesang Students’ Union, Chakhesang youth front secretary, Chakhesang Baptist Church Council and representatives from different areas and civil organisations spoke on the occasion.
Meanwhile, FGN, ministry of “Rali Wali” has expressed gratitude to Khutsokhuno Baptist Church Choir, Kutsapo Baptist Church Choir, Rekizu Baptist Church and cultural troupes for participating in the jubilee “Chithat”, central authorities and regional representatives of FGN, civil societies of Chakhesang district for extending financial, material and physical help.
FGN appoints “Medan Peyu”
The “Kedhage” Federal government of Nagaland in exercise of the provision under part VII, article 108 of the “Yehzabo” of Nagaland has appointed vikihe Zhimomi, son of Hokuto Zhimomi of Vishepu village as the “Midan Peyu” of Sumi region in place of Hekhuvi Achumi, subsequent to his promotion to deputy “kilonser Lota”. The appointment would come into effect from March 22, stated the ministry of G. Zhimomi, joint secretary ministry of “Rali Wali” FGN.
