State unemployed youth, farmers trained at Umran

ATMA, Wokha organized Wokha district inter-state farmers training at Rural Resource and Training Centre (RRTC), Umran, Meghalaya from March 21 to 26. The team was led by E. Lireni Kikon and M. Zuthunglo Erui, BTT convener, Chukitong and W/Ralan block.
The main purpose of the training was to expose farmers and the educated unemployed youth to different certificate training programs on agri., and allied that are being offered by RRTC. The participants were trained on livestock management, bee keeping and mushroom cultivation both theoretically and practically.
Altogether 15 members comprising of educated unemployed youths, progressive farmers and two officials took part in the training.
