New road to connect 4 districts

A stretch of 23 km road would be constructed in phase wise under NLCPR in the Ministry of DONER. The new road construction would connect four districts i.e, Dimapur, Kohima, Phek and Kiphire and also connect Chozuba and Kijumetou under Kohima district.
In this connection, parliamentary secretary social welfare and women development Nagaland Chotisuh Sazo, visited Chozu Basa and interacted with Chozuba, Khesoh, Ighavito and Chozu Basa villagers.
The parliamentary secretary requested villagers to extend cooperation for the construction of the road and thanked the DAN government under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio for materializing the dreams of the people through various developmental works and also for sanctioning the project.
He also urged the contractor to work diligently, whereby the long aspiration of the people would be fulfilled.
Meanwhile, the villagers expressed gratitude to the parliamentary secretary for his initiative and expressed hope for initiation of development activities in future for the common good of the people in the constituency and the state.
The villagers also assured their co-operation and support to the government and contractor. Chotisuh was accompanied by ADC Chozuba, Er. Vekho Swuro, Katiry SDO, Mengutuo Rio and several public leaders.
