A small farmer agri-business association (SFABA) of Tuensang district on Monday has demanded the authorities of State Bank of India Nagaland, to clarify against non-receipt of full payment to its association. According to president and secretary of the association, L. Among Yimchungru and S.N. Chang, State Bank of India Tuensang branch has sanctioned `24,00000 as term loan to small farmer agri- business association Tuensang district, but divulged the association received only `20, 36,320, with three time installment, where as the remaining amount i.e. `363680 was not received from any individuals nor SBI Tuensang. According to the association, the schedule rate and figures for repayment must be equal to all its 50 members, but the bank staff was said to have denied by affirming that, the different amount and figures was “shown by the computer, not by men”. The association further questioned the “usage” of computer by SBI staff Tuensang as no one could detect the misappropriation or cheating.
PBMS students exposure tour
DIMAPUR: Pimla Baptist Mission school, (PBMS) Pimla village conducted a educational exposure at Zoological Park, Rangapahar, Green park and Science Park on March 2.
Altogether 40 students and 10 teachers of the school took part in the programme accompanied by the school advisory board chairman, who is also the assistant conservator of Forest, Ihevi Awomi and wife Susan Jamir.
The school administrator has thanked officer in charge of the Zoological Park, Rangapahar and his staff for guiding and extending help to the students.
