Special drive to settle pension cases

DIMAPUR, APR 7 : In collaboration with the AG Nagaland, the state government had decided to launch a special drive to settle/finalize pending pension cases in a time bound manner.
The departments of police, health and family welfare, school education, power, roads and bridges, housing and mechanical have been selected initially for the special drive.
Commissioner and secretary to the government of Nagaland, A. S. Bhatia informed that, the departments, during the drive would make special arrangements to prepare and process pension papers in a mission mode in all their respective divisions/units.
The prepared pension papers would then be scrutinized and collected by officers of the AG as per the schedule listed. (Table)
In this regard, all retired government employees who are yet to initiate their pension papers have been requested to immediately approach their respective departments’ division/unit from where they have retired so that the departments are well prepared to take up their cases when the scrutiny as per schedule is held.

All other departments have also been informed to take similar steps to expedite settlement of pension of employees from their department.
