Kidnap, murder condemned

DNSU: Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has vehemently condemned the recent kidnapping and murder of Md. Israr, a businessman of Dimapur. The union, while lauding the law enforcing agency for apprehending the culprits, reminded that stringent action should be taken, so as to deliver justice to the bereaved family. Further, the union extended sympathy to bereaved family, and acknowledged the business community for standing tall and showing its anguish to kidnapping and extortions.
DSC: Dimapur Sumi Council (DSC) condemning the killing of Md. Israr, an innocent businessman in Dimapur said the gruesome act committed by the anti- socials has no place in a civilized society. The council urged the authority in-charge to award befitting punishment to the culprits. The council further extended condolence to the bereaved family members.
JVC: Jakhama Village Council (JVC) has condemned the kidnapping, ransom demand and murder of Md. Israr a prominent businessmen who was kidnapped on May 10. Jakhama village council in its strongest term condemned the reported involvement of Kevingol S/o Lt Puhokhwel Sophie of Jakhama village residing in Dimapur and for tarnishing the name of the village. The person/accused who has been arrested should not be released on bail and deserve stringent punishment as per the law of the land, added JVC.
JKU: Jakha Kuda Union (JKU) has condemned the murder of Md. Israr on May 12, near Essar Petrol depot at 7th mile, Tenyiphe-1. The union has strongly appealed to the police department and NSCN (IM) not to leave any stone unturned and to award befitting punishment to the murderers. JKU further expressed shock on the involvement of one Kevingol Sophie S/o Lt Puhokhwel and also condemned the “insane and barbaric act of killing” for ransom. JKU conveyed condolence to the bereaved family.
