An inter school Peace Club, peace celebration was conducted on May 14 at Christ King higher secondary school.
Government higher secondary school, Mt. Hermon School, Christ King School and representatives from Baptist College and Kohima village peace club attended.
Robert Solo, a youth leader in the diocese of Kohima animated a session on “Leadership”.
He said to be a successful leader; one must have a dream, a desire, dedication and determination.
Fr. Joshua, Principal of Christ King higher secondary school exhorted the students that in order to be peace promoters, one must first cultivate inner peace and tranquility within oneself.
Adakho, a student of Baptist College and Harangbe, a student government higher secondary school shared their experiences as a member of Peace Channel.
The program also featured praise and worship session by Peace Club of Christ King higher secondary school, while peace messages and songs were presented by Mt. Hermon school.
Victor Yhome, Coordinator, Kohima District, Peace Channel highlighted the order of the programs for the day.
