Teachers’ extempore speech competition held

The ZIZA SHG organized teachers’ extempore speech competition for the first time in Wokha at LDC Hall where P. Zupenthung Humtsoe, vice president ANSTA was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the organizers for coming up with the idea and said such competitions should have been initiated earlier and conducted annually in-order to provide a platform to the builders of the nation.
He also urged the participants to grab this opportunity as a privilege even in near future and asked teachers to be well equipped and update themselves with the happenings so they could take part in such competitions.
Renthungo Mozhui of Libemo Memorial School walked away with the first prize, Meribeni Enny of Little Angel School bagged second and Lucy Patton of Regimental School third. Certificates and TA were also awarded to all the participants.
