Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU), Kohima has requested all interested persons willing to register with the union to do the needful on or before June 30.
No fresh registration shall be entertained after the deadline, stated N. Neilo Koza, secretary and Ntsenthung Tungoe, vice president. NCSU also informed all registered members including Class I contractors yet to renew their identity cards to renew it on or before June 30, failing which his/her identity card would be treated as cancelled.
The union further cautioned all its registered members/Class I contractors of NCSU identity card holders not to exchange their writing pad with government servants/non local or any unregistered members and said that if anyone was found doing so he/she would be expelled from the union.
NCSU also appealed to the state government to maintain strict adherence/compliance as per government order before awarding contract and supply to the NCSU registered members.
The union said it would no longer remain a mute spectator to the gross violations committed on the part of government officials who do not take note of the government memo, adding consequences would be borne by the defaulting officials.
