State records decline in crime rate

A State level security coordination meeting was held to review the law and order situation prevailing in the state at the Secretariat Conference Hall, Kohima Thursday. The meeting was convened by home minister Imkong L. Imchen with all the DCs and SPs of the State. Imchen had a free and frank discussion and shared various aspects about the law and order with the DCs and SPs. During the meeting the home minister expressed his desire that they maintain peace and tranquility and also lauded their efficient administration. The DCs and SPs gave the reports on the law and order of their respective districts, which in general reflected the decline of crime rates in the districts. The home minister appealed to the peace loving citizend of the state and also the NGOs to cooperate with the administration in maintaining peace and tranquility in the State. State chief secretary Lalthara, additional chief secretary & commissioner, Banuo Z. Jamir and home commissioner, J. Alam also attended the meeting.
