NE talent hunt reality show

Programme production centre (North East) Doordarshan Guwahati would be organizing the first ever North East reality show for singers of North East to explore talents and give a common platform. The show would be held in two categories i.e solo-western popular pop songs and popular old Hindi Film melodies.
The competition would be held for age group of 16 to 26 years. In this regard, Director Programme Production Centre (NE) Doordarshan has informed all interested persons to collect application forms from any Doordarshan Kendras of the North East or to download from the website The last date for submission of the applications will be June 30.
NSCBMDS asked to withdraw statement
DIMAPUR: Chesezu Village Council (CVC) taking note of the press statement issued by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Memorial Development Society (NSCBMDS) Nagaland has directed NSCBMDS to issue public withdrawal of statement within 10 days w.e.f May 25.
According to CVC chairman Puswuyi Nyekha, a meeting was held May 25 in the Panchayat Hall whereby village council members deliberated on the statement issued by NSCBMDS and found that the statement was highly objectionable, defamatory and damaging the good image of Chesezu village.
The meeting resolved that failing to adhere to its directive; NSCBMDS would be banned from taking any kind of activity within the jurisdiction of Chesezumi village.
