Tohanba to inaugurate GMS Chessore B’: Parliamentary Secretary IPR, Eco & Statistic Nagaland, R. Tohanba would be inaugurating the Government Middle School Chessore B’ at Chessore village on May 10. Government Middle School Chessore B’ at Chessore village was constructed under SSA during the year 2010-11.
NSACS ‘World AIDS Orphans Day’: Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) along with FXB Suraksha will observe ‘World AIDS Orphans Day’ on May 7, 10am at State Academy Hall, Kohima, under the theme “Child Rights”. All concerned individuals, NGO’s and media have been invited to be part of the function.
FGN Pochury region reinstates service: FGN Pochury region has informed Wilson Katiry son of Kekhwetelo Katiry of Matikhru village has been issued a “superseded suspension order”. FGN Pochury region secretary S. Robert Perry in a press note stated that Wilson sought forgiveness from Pochury region FGN, and that the latter acknowledged to reinstate Wilson Kaitiry on April 30. FGN Pochury region has further appealed Wilson to maintain better cooperation and understanding with the authorities and other colleagues and to be loyal in any activities of the Pochury region.
World Red Cross Day: Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Nagaland state branch would be celebrating World Red Cross Day on May 8, 1:30pm at conference hall, Red Cross office, Kohima. Dr. Chumben Murry, minister Agriculture, Nagaland would be the chief guest. Further, all the patrons, vice patrons, life members, life associates and well wishers have been requested to attend the programme.
