Wheelchairs for the needy children

Chaude Tardif, Head of Physical Rehabilitation Program, ICRC Geneva on Thursday visited Kohima with Achille Otuo Essono, Physical Rehabilitation Project Manager, ICRC, New Delh.
The team had an exploratory meeting on disabilities with principal director, health and family welfare and district welfare officer. The visiting team was accompanied by Zakie Kire, general secretary, IRCSN, Kholie Dolf, M.C member, IRCSN and officials from IRCS, Dimapur district branch- Vikuto Robin and Vichutuolie Angami. Wheelchairs were distributed to five beneficiaries of Cherry Blossom School, Kohima at Red Cross office, Kohima.
Claude Tardif before distributing the wheelchairs, said the wheelchairs were provided to make the beneficiaries independent and act as a source of help not only for the children, but parents as well.
The function was attended by M.C members IRCSN, officials of IRCS, Dimapur district branch, members from NAPAD, headmistress Cherry Blossom School students and teachers.
