ANRSAA meeting: All Nagaland Regular Sectional Assistant Association (ANRSAA) has convened a meeting on May 13, 10:30am at PWD Housing meeting hall. All district and sub-division unit chairmen and secretaries have been requested to attend the meeting. Further the regular service assistants have been requested to submit the yearly membership fees of `100 for central office maintenance fund and also to attend the meeting.
Tree plantation drive: Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) Peren unit and Zeliang Officers Association Nagaland would be organizing a get together cum tree plantation drive on May 14 at new district HQ Model towm, Peren district. All members have been requested to attend the programme.
ANTA meeting: All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) has convened meeting on May 10 at 8am at ANTA head office, Kohima to discuss the matter relating to the collection of yearly fees and other important issues of the association.
TNAI international nurses day: Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) local branch Kohima would be celebrating International Nurses Day on May 12 at new building complex NHAK at 12 noon on the theme “Closing the gap: Increasing Access and Equity”. Kaisa Rio wife of chief Minister, Nagaland would be the chief guest.
DDBWWU meeting: Dimapur District Bore Well Workers Union (DDBWWU) has convened a meeting on May 8, 2pm at the residence of union president, DC Court colony. All thikadars of bore well contractors in and around Dimapur have been requested to attend the meeting and person failing to attend shall not be allowed to take up the work within their respective jurisdiction.
PWDSDO meet defered: A consultative meeting of PWD Sub-Divisional Officers (PWDSDO) scheduled on May 13 has been deferred to May 14, 11am at Saramati hotel. All the members have been requested to attend the meeting.
PSC federal assembly: Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) has convened its federal assembly on May 24 at Sakshi village. All PSC executives and federating units have been requested to attend the assembly. Those failing to comply with the directive, the PSC would take stern action as per the resolution adopted.
ATA Tuensang emergency meeting: Adhoc Teachers Association (ATA), Tuensang has convened an emergency meeting on May 12, 10am at the union treasurer office, opposite GHSS Tuensang. All adhoc teachers of Tuensang district and one representative from each school have been requested to attend the meeting along with membership fees of `100. Use of chemical and explosive in Doyang reservoir banned: Fishermen Union Doyang (FUD) has banned the use of chemical and explosives at Doyang reservoir with effect from May 19. Names of defaulters would be forwarded to district administration, said FUD and informed the defaulter (s) would be imposed a fine of `2000 from which `500 would be awarded to the reporter whose name will be kept secret as per the order issued by deputy commissioner Wokha. FUD also said that if fisherman found violating the order shall be penalized by banning him/her for three months from fishing after payment of `2000.
NNC emergency meeting: NNC convened an emergency meeting of all CEC members, Senior Leader, Women Federation NNC, Ex-Naga Army and invitees on May 11, 10 am at Oking (Headquarter) to discuss the present prevailing situation and to take broader step for the interest of the people.
Counseling for technical courses: Department of technical education would be organizing counseling for technical courses (engineering. medical, tourism & hotel management. etc.) on May 17, at 11am at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Kohima for class- XII Science/Arts (appeared/passed out). All candidates have been invited to attend. Representatives of universities/institutions would be available for counseling.
Zbto quarterly meet: Quarterly review meeting of Zunheboto was held on May 5 at DC conference hall Zunheboto. DEO Zunheboto, DIS Aghunato, DIS Zunheboto, DMAZ personnel’s, EBRC co-ordinators and Asst. Co-ordinators and ToT’s from 5 EBRC’s attended the meeting. Chairman DMAZ urged the participants to highlight their problems and issues to chairman for better co-ordination and understanding. He also appraised all SSA personnel both in districts headquarter and blocks to work sincerely in their own respective work.
STKK Prayer Fellowship: The Suruhuto Tokukujo Kuqhakulu Kohima (STKK) prayer fellowship would be held on May 10 at 4pm at the residence of its banker Er. Vetokhu Yeptho. All office bearers and executive members have been requested to attend the fellowship prayerfully.
