Tizit Area Students’ Union (TASU) has informed that it would conduct a surprise inspection at all department head offices under DDOs within Tizit division. Expressing dismay over the poor duties discharged by some officers and even remaining absent for months, the union in a press statement issued by Khamhi Konyak, action chairman and Manpang Wangyin, vice president TASU cautioned that it would no longer remain a mute spectator “to watch these episodes”.
TASU said it would not hesitate to go headlong against those absentees and defaulting officers as desired by the union, by checking the staff attendance register and no proxy attendance entertained.
TASU has therefore asked all HODs of various departments to remain stationed at their respective offices at the earliest.
Meanwhile, the union has expressed gratitude to all the schools under Tizit division for shouldering their earnest support and participating at the 3rd session literary cum 1st session college students meet organized by TASU from April 11 to 12 at local ground Tizit which was graced by P. Angam Phom, BDO Tizit Block; Hawang Wangsa, president ENSF; Yeangba Konyak, deputy commandant 6th NAP Bt. Tizit and Athsangla Yimchunger, EAC Tizit as chief guest and guest of honors respectively.
