Kiyanilie at SASRD parting social

: Post graduate and undergraduate outgoing students of Nagaland University, school of agricultural sciences and rural development (SASRD), were given a warm send-off at SASRD auditorium, Medziphema Thursday during the 17th annual parting social of the school.
Nagaland legislative assembly (NLA) speaker Kiyanilie Peseyie, who graced the occasion as chief guest, reminded the outgoing students that gaining something in life should not be an end but should have vision and apply principle of introspection for better hope in their lives and create new blueprint for others to emulate. He insisted that the students being technically qualified youth of the society, should apply strength, skill and fortitude to develop a modern Nagaland in the greater interest of the people.
“There are opportunities and challenges in every job and you need to adopt innovative and contemporary ideas on how to make the state a better place to live in,” Kiyanilie advised the outgoing students.
He also urged them that in future on being assigned with any job they should take it as a challenge and demonstrate vibrant and “supreme reliability” of service. NLA speaker, who released the souvenir, also gave away mementos to the outgoing students.
Acting Dean of SASRD Professor Alemla Ao, while exhorting the students, underlined the importance of entrepreneurship, said entrepreneurship was an employment strategy that could lead to economic development.
Short speeches on behalf of outgoing PG and UG students as well as the remaining students were delivered. Earlier, SASRD students’ union president Atou Kharütso gave the welcome address.
