NPA meet: The Nagaland Pensioners’ Association will have an executive meeting on June 21 at 11am at NPA office, old secretariat complex Kohima. All executive members of the association have been asked to attend the meeting without fail.
Slaughter house improvement training: One day training on slaughter house improvement for better quality meat and safer environment will be held on June 14 at 9am at KMC conference hall Kohima. Members of NMPPB, HCPT and Kohima Municipal Council have been asked to attend the training without fail.
“Olympics Day Run”: The department of youth resources and sports, Nagaland along with Nagaland Olympics Association (NOA) would be organizing “Olympics Day Run” at Mon on June 23.
CVC inform electors: Chenloisho Village Council (CVC) has informed all electors of Chenloisho village under 45th Tehok A/C to attend the 1st phase electoral photo identity card (EPIC) photography commencing from June 11 to 17.
HSP ward no-1 Kohima inform residents: High School Panchayat, ward no-1, Kohima has informed residents of high school who could not attend the EPIC photo session on June 8 to attend the second photo session on June 12 at Panchayat hall, and youth hall high school area.
ANGDA Zunheboto general meeting: All Nagaland Government Drivers’ Association (ANGDA), Zunheboto district has convened a general meeting on June 15, 10am at the conference hall of deputy commissioner Zunheboto. All members have been requested to attend the meeting.
Children music festival: The education & communication department, Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and Kids Worship Centre would be organizing children music festival, below the age of fourteen from July 5-7 at Dimapur. The solo competition would comprise of keyboard, violin, classical guitar, drums and children’s choir for fifteen persons and creative indigenous instrumental for four persons. Sumi national workers extend support to Gen. Khole and N. Kitovi Zhimomi: Sumi National worker from both civil set up and army commanders under Sumi region held an emergency meeting on June 10 and expressed gratitude to GPRN/NSCN National Hoho resolution dated June 7 at Khehoyi. Further Sumi national workers have felicitated Gen. Khole C-in-C elected acting president/chairman GPRN/NSCN. In a press release issued by regional secretary I/C Sumi region GPRN/NSCN stated the Sumi region would whole heartedly pledged to re-dedicate for Naga national cause under the leadership of Gen. Khole and N. Kitovi Zhimomi.
Seiurüzha Colony authority inform residents: Seiurüzha Colony chairman Kevilekho Medoze has informed all the residents and plot holders of Seiurüzha ward no. 8 Chumukedima town to clean their respective areas especially attached main road, approach road, link road and to cut trees touching the electric lines on or before June 25. The chairman further asked them to flush out all those who are selling alcohol, talab, tez and other intoxicant items from the colony.
KDSUD emergency meeting: Kiphire District Sumi Union Dimapur (KDSUD) has convened an emergency meeting on June 12, 2pm at the residence of Er. Khevito Chishi, union banker, Thahekhu village.
DPDB Mon and HSLC felicitation programme: The monthly meeting Mon district planning and development board has been postponed to June 22. Meeting would also coincide with felicitation programme of HSLC 2011 toppers in Mon district. All board members and elected representative of Mon district have been requested to attend the meeting.
AKM meeting: The Ao Student Conference (AKM) initiated a co-ordination cum consultative meeting at AKM conference hall on June 10 with Ao Senden (Hoho), Watsü Mungdang, All Ward Union Mokokchung Town and the four landowner villages. The meeting was aimed to strengthen ties between various apex groups for the social wellbeing of the society, topics for the uplift of Mokokchung were discussed and pondered upon the construction of DC’s Office. AKM also cautioned all to look into the matter for construction of New DC Office complex. AKM office bearers were inducted on January and this is the first co-ordination meeting organized by AKM.
TUCZ meeting: Half-yearly meeting of Tenyimia Union Church Zunheboto (TUCZ), has been convened on June 11 at the Church premises.
ATAN general meeting: Meeting of aggrieved teachers association Nagaland (ATAN) has been convened on June 25, 9am at ISBT. All members have been informed to attend the meeting to deliberate on the next course of action.
DSSU joint meeting: Dimapur Sumi Students Union (DSSU) has convened a joint meeting on June 11, 2p.m at the banker’s residence at Notun Bosti, Dimapur. All advisors, senior leaders and executive council members have been informed to attend the meeting.
Spices drier machine inaugurated: Spices drier machine for Tsurhyu SHG was inaugurated by C. Peter Yanthan, district agriculture officer at Wokha on June 6. Speaking at the inauguration, Yanthan urged Tsurhyu SHG members to give all efforts to make the best use of the machine and to avail its benefits. He further assured that the department would give all technical assistance for better functioning of the machine.
