Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) Dimapur unit has declared to extend support to its head office Kohima demand on ‘abeyance of tender in various GHS (under RMSA)’.
W. Khape, president and Imti Wati, general secretary NCSU Dimapur through a press statement has appealed to the responsible minister to intervene and settle the matter amicably for the benefit of all. In order to maintain transparency and better working atmosphere, the union has requested the departments under it to extend their cooperation to the action committee members during their visit.
NCSU Dimapur unit informed that it would not remain silent in event of misuse of government guidelines, under table tender and allotting works and supply works to unregistered contactors.
Meanwhile, Action Committee NCSU Dimapur unit has declared to extend their support to the demand on ‘abeyance of tender in various GHS (under RMSA)’. In a press release, Vikato Zhimomi, convener and M. Tetseo, secretary Action Committee NCSU Dimapur unit said it was unfair to let a single contractor or firm carry out all works and also requested the minister of school education and SCERT to provide opportunity to local registered contractors district-wise by breaking up the tender GHS-wise.
