Agape Cottage summer camp in Dimapur

As a part of its yearly curricular activity, the children of Agape Cottage- an NGO based in Digha Patna came to Dimapur on a two-week summer camp at Generation Countdown Youth Ministry. They reached Dimapur on May 29.
Altogether 35 orphans belonging to Bihari community below the age of 21 years got the opportunity to interact and minister at different places in Dimapur.
The children in the first week visited Bihari Baptist Church near Nagaland gate and presented skits, drama and songs and attended vacation Bible School at Life Spring Corner.
The children also got the opportunity to share testimonies with the orphans of Love Care Home orphanage, attended services at Ao Revival Church and CIHSR chapel where they presented songs. They also visited Zakiesatuo School and interacted with students and joined in the school morning assembly session.
Besides daily devotion and Bible class in the camp, activities such as sports and song composition competition were also organised at the camp.
Kids Worship Centre also conducted special service for the children.
Agape Cottage was established in the year 2003. Coordinator of Agape Cottage, Maria a Romanian missionary and her husband Jonathan expressed that summer camp in Dimapur was a refreshing experience especially for the children who live in a congested place in Patna.
Maria said Agape Cottage is a faith based ministry run with the help of funds received from family and well-wishers.
On June 12, the children would be attending vocational Bible school at Life Spring Corner and would be leaving for Patna the same day.
Maria and her husband Jonathan with their three children live in Patna and lead the work in running Agape Cottage, spreading literacy in the slums of Darbhanga, evangelism, ministry to youth, Church, etc.
It may be mentioned that Agape Cottage is registered under Sharanam an NGO focused on girl child education founded by Aoyangla Imchen and group of women in the year 2008.
