ZB: Zelaingrong Boudi (ZB) Kohima, Nagaland expressed shock over the demise of Pauning Haikam retired language teacher on June 7 at Kohima. Late Haikim was the main author who published school text book Class- A to VIII and also published books on Zeme (Zeliangrong) dictionary.
ANSTA Shamator sub-unit: All Nagaland School Teachers Association (ANSTA) of Shamator sub unit has expressed shock over the sudden demise of its sub unit president H. Bunsokiu A/Teacher GPS Sangphur village who passed away on June 5 at Naga Hospital Kohima. ANSTA sub unit Shamator, stated that, late Bunsokiu served in the association as president since 2008 and described him as honest, efficient and a dynamic leader.
Shichimi/Sutemi/Lumitsami Council: Chairman Shichimi/Sutemi/Lumitsami Council, Dimapur has condoled the demise of I. Kakiye Kinimi, Hd. G.B. Lumitsami. A condolence message stated that late Kakiye’s demise was a great loss for not only to his family but also to the people of Akuluto area in general.
Y. Patton: Parliamentary secretary for geology & mining, irrigation & flood control and border affairs Y. Patton has expressed grief over the demise of Er. Hotoshe, EE (I&FC) Phek who passed away on June 12 at Kohima. Patton in a condolence message described late Hotoshe as a dedicated and efficient officer who maintained good relationship with both superior officials and colleagues. Patton conveyed condolences to bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NNC: Gen. (Retd.) Viyalie Metha, “Kedahge”, FGN on behalf of the FGN has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and relatives of “Maj”. (Retd.) Sizothie who passed away on June 12 at his native village Angami region, Nagaland. A condolence message said late Maj. (Retd.) Sizothie joined Naga Home guard in 1956 and was jailed by the Indian Armed Forces for years. He however joined again Naga army after he was released from the jail, the aggressor and served the nation as “Naga Army” officer in the rank of “Major”. He then retired from “Naga Army” and served as a “Leacy” Hoho member of Angami Region, FGN till the time of his demise. FGN further prayed that Almighty grant peace and solace to the bereaved family members and relatives.
