NNC Sumi region supports: NNC Sumi region has declared to extent their support to Yimchungur, Angami and Lotha region’s decision to terminate Kiumukam Yimchungur, former vice president from NNC organization. A press release issued by Khehoto Y Zhimo, president NNC Sumi region Oking said Kiumukam was expelled from the parent body for committing mistakes and bringing bad name to the organization.
Bengali community meet: A meeting of the Bengali community will be held on June 19, 11am at Sree Sree Ram Thakur Sevashram, railway colony, Dimapur. All Bengalis have been requested to attend the meet.
RRUD joint consultative meeting: Ralan Range Union Dimapur (RRUD) has convened a joint consultative meeting with Ralan Area Lotha Hoho (RALH) on June 18, 2pm at the residence of Er K.L.Moyo, Senjum village, followed by the election of new executives of RRUH for the tenure 2011-13. All members have been requested to attend the meeting.
DSSU felicitation program: Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) would be organizing HSLC & HSSLC topper’s felicitation programme on the 2nd day of DSSU 36th general conference scheduled to be held from June 24-25 at town hall Dimapur. All the Sumi topper’s and students who secured highest mark in particular subject from Dimapur have been requested to attend the programme. One may contact 9856683633/9612198282 for more details.
ARSU 3rd inter-school meet: Akuluto Range Students’ Union (ARSU) would be organizing its 3rd Akuluto area inter-school meet from June 16-17, 8:30am at public ground, Akuluto. All the schools have been requested to report the public ground by 7:30 am and executive members at 6am.
ANTA executive meeting: All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) has convened its 2nd executive meeting on June 21, 12noon at ANTA office head quarter Kohima. Union has requested all unit presidents and secretaries to attend the meeting.
STUK meeting: The Sangtam students’ union Kohima (SSUK) has convened an emergency meeting on June 16 at 1pm at the residence of Yangerla treasurer. All office bearers have been requested to attend the meeting.
Sale of fishes: The fisheries department will be selling fishes on Thursday at Brooter Fish Farm, Dimapur. Public are requested to avail the opportunity provided by the department.
GYCD, GUD meeting: Gorkha Youth Club Dimapur (GUCD) and Gorkha Union Dimapur (GUD) has convened a meeting on June 19, 10:30am at headquarter Thehekhu village. All office bearers, youth and students have been requested to attend the meeting.
SSUD meeting held: Sangtam Students Union Dimapur (SSUD) along with Sangtam Union Dimapur (SUD) held a meeting on June 11 and elected new team of office bearers SSUD headed by Imlikumzuk Mongzar as president and Lamtsa Thonger as general secretary.
Training on PEF: Two-day training on Pratham Education Foundation (PEF) is underway at Hopongkyu memorial Hall Kiphire on the theme “I can read and do Maths”. Altogether 30 volunteers from 25 villages from Kiphire is attending seminar. Materials like teacher’s tools, testing tools and chart papers were also distributed at the seminar.
NPF 59 A/C welcomes: The NPF 59 A/C has welcomed Lirise, executive member 59 ACCC of Yingphire village who resigned from the Congress party and joined the NPF party in support of C. Kipili Sangtam, MLA and chairman NSMDC Nagaland under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, chief minister and Dr. Shurhozelie, president NPF.
NSGEWA meeting: Nagaland Senior Government Employees Welfare Association (ASGEWA) has convened a general meeting on June 15, 11am at ASGEWA office Khonoma building, D-Block Kohima. All members and government employees who retired after October 31, 2009 have been requested to attend the meeting. Members are further requested to bring information relating to their pension cases of latest status.
CCSU 49th session: The 49th mid-term session of the Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU) would be held on June 24 at its Conference Hall, Tuensang.
