All Nagaland cooperative societies federation (ANCSF) while thanking the state government for sanctioning huge amount to different cooperative societies stated that sanctioning of fund in the first phase was not done as per guidelines of integrated cooperative development project (ICDP) and that the second phase sanctioned to 171 cooperative societies should be released early.
ANCSF in an executive meeting at its head office Kohima on June 8 deliberated on matters pertaining to ICDP in Kohima, Mon and Zunheboto. ANCSF felt that since the amount sanctioned was less, the project cannot be implemented and therefore requested the authority to follow the guidelines while sanctioning the amount.
The federation suggested the amount sanctioned should be as per project guidelines submitted by different cooperative societies, project cost should not be in one ceiling since the project were different with a view to implement properly. The federation also discussed that the sanctioned amount should be clear-cut and made known to the cooperative societies. Stating that national cooperative development cooperation has been keeping the sanction on pending, ANCSF president R.K Mero said sanction for third phase selected by the state level selection committee should be published at an early date.
