Training on ICDP concludes

The valedictory function of three-day training on integrated cooperative development project (ICDP) on strengthening linkages between cooperative societies and NSCB limited Dimapur and Zunheboto cooperative societies was held on June 16 at board room of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Limited Dimapur.
The function was graced by T. Imkonglemla Longkumer, registrar Cooperative Societies, Nagaland as chief guest.
Congratulating the participants on the successful completion of the training program comprising of agri-allied officers from districts and the cooperative societies, the chief guest also said cooperative societies would be equipped with the knowledge for proper maintenance of books of accounts and utilization of financial assistance received from ICDP in their business endeavors.
He said the cooperative societies would ensure timely repayment of loan to the government and upgrade the economic conditions at the grass root level.
The program was chaired by B.K. Thadani, managing director NSCB Limited and Alemla, chairperson Temolonger MPCS Limited Dimapur and Akato Zhimomi, chairman Haggay MPCS Limited Zunheboto spoke on behalf of the trainees. Resource persons S.K. Tucker, chief director (TOPIC) NCDC and Dr. J.S. Chauhan, deputy director (TOPIC) NCDC shared their experiences during the training. The function concluded with vote of thanks by Kihevi Tuccu, CPO Zunheboto.
