Tuensang District Adhoc Teachers Association (TDATA) reiterating its earlier ultimatum submitted to the department stated the association was not against the department, or to create enmity but to reach the goal through peaceful means.
Tuensang District Adhoc Teachers while lauding the education department for their prompt response and as per assurance given by the additional director and legal officer in charge of education department on May 30, also believed the education department and P&AR department were putting in efforts to fulfill its demand.
TDATA with the assurance given by the department, conducted a meeting on June 4 and decided to call off the second phase agitation. In this regard, the association has asked the authorities to speed up the process involved in fulfilling its demand and also requested the P&AR department and cabinet ministers to take the matter seriously. The association further said if the department fails to fulfill its demand, then it would have no alternative but to take its own course of action.
