ATMA Tuensang exposure trip

Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Tuensang conducted an exposure trip for the Village Council Chairman’s (VCC) selected from the eight blocks of Tuensang district on June 8-15.
The tour was held with a view to acquaint participants with agricultural techniques practiced elsewhere.
The team was led by Dr. Vikshe Sumi deputy project director ATMA, S. Puchong E.O and BTT convener sericulture department, P. Eyang and O. Changlem FD and BTT convenors fishery department.
Altogether four ATMA official and 16 VCCs toured national and agriculturally important places like New Delhi, Agra (UP) and Jaipur (Rajasthan).
The team was also invited by CM Chang Member of Parliament at his residence for an interaction, and lauded ATMA for organizing the exposure trip for the VCCs and encouraged the team to participate and work actively in developmental programme. Meanwhile, VCCs have thanked ATMA Tuensang for its concern in organizing and moblilizing them to local as well as external resources for social, educational, technological and developmental interventions.
