Digital GNIIT launched at NIIT Dimapur

‘Digital GNIIT’ was launched at NIIT Dimapur centre on Saturday.
The new GNIIT curriculum is based on a revolutionary educational paradigm called collaborative learning which gives unparalleled flexibility and convenience to students.
Briefing on the course ‘Digital GNIIT’, Pradipta Bhattacharyya territory manager NIIT limited said digital GNIIT – India’s first cloud campus would add a new dimension in the way of learning.
“Learning on the move and being able to access their courseware anytime anywhere 24X7 will make the students well equipped with technology”, said Bhattacharyya. He also said students can interact with the best faculty of NIIT and also with NIITians from anywhere in India through cloud campus and added that every new GNIITian would be provided with a netbook with a configuration of Intel ® Atom processor N550, 2GB Ram, 2GB HDD, webcam, anti-virus preloaded with three years warranty and 3 X pre-paid data card with 1GB free data download per month.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Engineer K. Khesito sub-divisional officer and senior most student of NIIT said aspiring students should change their mindset of relying on government jobs and urged them to come forward with a broader spectrum to avail the facilities of career course being offered by NIIT.
“It is a matter of pride that NIIT has given opportunities to our Naga youth to nature their talent and explore their potentialities in IT sector in various categories of job and entrepreneurship programme without confining themselves in our home state”, said Khesito.
Students having any queries regarding the course have been requested to visit NIIT Dimapur centre, near SD Jain College Dimapur.
