ANATU Tuensang meeting: All Nagaland Adhoc Teacher Union Tuensang unit (ANATU) held a meeting on June 17 Tuensang for those who underwent suitability test in 2010. During the meeting, members unanimously resolved that, no ANATU Tuensang members should take any step without the consent of the committee. ANATU has also reminded the members to clear their membership.
Registration with CCSU: Chang college students’ union (CCSU) Kohima has informed all Chang students who passed HSLC & HSSLC and studying in and around Kohima to register their names with the union through their respective college representatives. Student failing to register to the union shall not take any responsible in his/ her unwanted situations by the union, stated CCSU. GTSU meeting: Ghathashi town students’ union (GTSU) has convened a meeting on June 25 at 11am at the residence of its advisor Vikiqhe Chishi High school colony, Kohima. All executives and advisors have been requested to attend the meeting.
Belho clan Bamboo plantation: Belho clan would be organizing a mass bamboo plantation at Süsezou near Meriema village on June 25. All Belhonuomia have been requested to assemble at the mission compound by 9 am to proceed to the spot.
KMWS inform money lenders, community members: Kohima Muslim Welfare Society (KMWS) has expressed gratitude to Kohima Village Youth Organisations for their co-operation and guidance. Further, the union has informed money lenders or money lending societies of Kohima district that any loan given to Muslim community would be doing at their own risk and the society would not be liable to refund the loan in the event of breakdown of deal between the parties concerned. KMWS also informed that it has disassociated itself from Muslims who is found gambling, drinking and doing drugs. KMWS while condemning such evil deeds also extended its full co-operation to local NGOs or law enforcing agencies to bring such culprits behind bar.
ARO dispatch drill ceremony: Army Recruiting Office (ARO) would be conducting a dispatch drill ceremony at ARO Rangapahar on June 27, 11am. The ceremony would be attended by Doshehe Y. Sema minister of power, KL Chishi MLA, Azheto Zhimomi advisor cooperation, Hewoto Sema MLA, SI Jamir, MLA and president PBC and about 75 candidates along with their parents. J Hota colonel director recruiting said the ceremony is being conducted to provide an opportunity for the state government representatives to acquaint themselves with the procedure of dispatch of candidates to training center’s as also to motivate the candidates getting enrolled into the army. Further, he said the event would serve as a platform for interaction amongst the recruiting organization, state government representatives, candidates and their parents.
VCPB ‘B’ meeting held: Village Council Purana Bazar (VCPB) ‘B’ convened a meeting on June 14 at the residence of the council advisor. The council during the meet, resolved to form a union under the name “Land Owner’s Union”, Purana Bazaa ‘B’ headed by Z. Akaho Yepthomi as president.
NLA consultative meeting: Yithachu, parliamentary secretary, tourism and justice and law and chairman of the committee has convened a consultative meeting on July 7, 11am at the assembly secretariat, committee room Kohima. All concerned committee members and department representatives have been requested to attend the meeting.
HWU Kohima executive meeting: Hebolimi Welfare Union (HWU) Kohima has convened an executive meeting on June 25, 9am at Hotel Fira near directorate of food and civil supply to elect new office bearers. All members and respective house hold have been requested to attend the meeting.
OGMDIC Wokha informs: Office of the general manager district industries centre (OGMDIC) Wokha has informed that viva - voice interview for selection of PMEGP beneficiaries during 2011-12 will be held on July 5-6, 10am onwards at DC’s conference hall Wokha. All applicants have been requested to appear for the interview and have been asked to bring original documents/certificates at the time of interview. It has also been notified that no separate calling letter would be issued.
KSU first assembly: First assembly of Kyong Students Union (KSU) for the tenure 2011-13 has been convened July 8,10am from LTC Hall, Wokha. All affiliated units and subordinate bodies have been asked to attend the assembly including senior and former leaders.
Police marathon and drawing competition: Office of the Inspector General of Police (INT) Nagaland would be organizing a police marathon rally and drawing competition on June 26 in observance of “International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking’. The marathon would be participated by school students and police personnel from police new reserve junction, Phesama up to police headquarter junction, Kohima and would be flagged off by additional director general of police (Adm) Nagaland at 6am. Further, a drawing competition would be organized at the new traffic control room, PHQ junction for school students on the theme ‘Think health, not drugs’.
TSUPCC general meeting: General meeting of Tenyimi Students Union, Public college of Commerce (TSUPCC) has been convened on June 24, 10:45am at B.Com first year hall. All TSUPCC members have been requested to attend the meeting.
DSBC couple seminar: Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church (DSBC) would be organising couple seminar on June 25, 9am to 2pm with Rev. Dr. Coppe Mero, Dr. Adila Mero resource centre and Rev. Dr. Kihoto Rochill as resource persons.
ACCC Satakha 36 A/C refutes: The ACCC of Satakha 36 A/C has rubbished claims made by the 5VCC members who allegedly resigned from Congress party. According to president ACCC Satakha 36 A/C A. Vitoho Jimomi and secretary Hokato A. Jimo, the individuals claiming as VCC are not active members of the Congress party but electorates who voted for Congress during 2008 general election. However in 2009 parliamentary election, the ACCC said the five individuals supported NPF and therefore do not belong to the Congress party. ACCC Satakha further said the mentioned individuals approached ACCC to be appointed as active membership a couple of months back, but were kept under observation. ACCC Satakha also expressed relieve stating the party had taken the right decision in not granting them membership to the Congress.
Peren DIS informs: Peren DIS Apeuna Iheilung has directed selected untrained under graduate teachers to collect personal release order from DIS office on or before June 25 to under go six months CPTE certificate course at SCERT Kohima from June 28.
Lost and found: Two cheques worth more than one lakh bearing account no. of SBI Lerie Branch were found from Kohima on June 21. The rightful owner may kindly contact 9436077633 and collect the same by providing identity proof.
LLRPO meeting on oil issue: Joint meeting of Lotha Lower Range Public Organization (LLRPO) with Kyong Hoho the apex body of Lotha has been convened on June 13,1pm at LLRPO head quarter, town hall Bhandari to discuss on oil issue. Head G.B, G.B, VDB secretary elders, seniors leader, public leaders of Lotha Lower range have been requested to attend the meeting.
NPF President Peren district inform: The president NPF Peren division Dennis Zeliang has informed both 6th Tening and 7th Peren A/Cs and all village units, town ward unit President’s and its functionaries of the party’s to co-operate and assist the photographers in taking photographs. He also request all political parties and general public irrespective of parties to list out all missing names of eligible voters, correction of age, and others related problems to forward the same to the concern authority for corrective measure.
