NSUI team attend meeting at Rishikesh

NSUI national executive and elected state president quarterly meeting-cum-training programme held at Hotel Ganga view Rishikesh, Uttarakhand on May 23 to 25.
State NSUI president Hitilo Tep also attended the programme.
The meeting-cum-training programme was conducted by Meenakshi Natrajan, MP and AICC secretary in-charge of NSUI and resource person from Jawaharlal Nehru Leadership Institute (JNLI).
Rahul Gandhi MP and AICC general secretary in-charge of NSUI and youth Congress addressed the meeting and urged the student leaders gathered there to work sincerely in their respective states for the welfare and uplift of the common people as well as the student community.
He also directed them to take advantage of various programme of Congress led UPA government like RTI to check corruption at all level and trace whether funds allocated by central government was utilized properly.
He urged them to carry out awareness programme on right to education, education loan, Rajiv Gandhi fellowship award, tribal hostel facilities etc., so that students could avail these facilities.
During the meeting, all state presidents presented the quarterly report and also their action plan for the next three months. The NSUI (Nagaland) expressed gratitude to NPCC and CLP team led by S.I. Jamir and Tokheho Yepthomi for extending moral and financial support to frontal organization and making it possible for them to attend the national meetings.
