Solar lantern training at Hyderabad

Eleven youth were trained on solar lantern preparation and solar equipment management from May 9 - 23 at rural technology park Hyderabad under national institute of rural development.
This is the second opportunity where the Nagaland association for adventure, mountaineering and education (NAAME) could send youths from Nagaland for the training.
While appreciating the Institute for providing opportunity to rural youths the association thanked MLA Vikho Yhoshu for sponsoring the training.
The association is a registered non- governmental, non- political and non-profit making organization in nature under the theme ‘Inculcate in Youth Values of Nature for Healthy Living’.
Through the Association the youths are exposed to Paragliding, Parasailing, Artificial Rock Climbing and also have availed opportunities to participated in North East Rock Climbing Competition 2010 at Guwahati, Basic Mountaineering courses at Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association (MMTA), Adventure Camp at Manali (Eastern Himalaya), Judges Training and Basic Mountaineering Course in Rock Climbing at Tripura under sponsorship of Indian Mountaineering Federation (IMF) and North East Zone Sports Climbing Council (NEZSCC).
The association has enrolment of 123 members and has invited more individuals and groups to enroll and promote adventure activities in the state and create awareness in all round environment and human resource development.
