NESC lauds Delhi police; demands arrest of other absconders

North East Support Centre & Helpline lauded the Delhi Police for arresting Innocent Nwayo, a Nigerian national responsible for the murder of Cecilia Chong, belonging to the Kuki-Chin community (Burma) in Delhi.
NESC&H also demanded Delhi police to arrest the murderer of seven a year old Naga girl in 2009 and the culprits of Dhaula Kuan gang rape, 2005. Madhu Chandra, founder director NESC&H said “Delhi Police must take action now to arrest the absconding murderer of a seven year old girl, who was raped, murdered and dumped in a water tank in Mahipalpur, New Delhi on April 19, 2009.”
He also further appealed to Delhi Police to initiate action to arrest the absconding gang rapists of a Mizo woman at Dhaula Kuan in 2005.
He said the Delhi govt and police need to develop policy and action plan to end racial attacks and sexual violence against Northeasterners and women in Delhi/NCR.
