LPG safety clinic held

To educate the school children about safe use of LPG, Indian Oil Corporation conducted a LPG safety clinic in Government Higher Secondary School Niuland on May 30.
Sukumar Sharma, deputy manager (LPG) of IOCL gave a detailed analysis of the various properties of LPG and how accidents can be avoided by following the safety guidelines.
He also stressed upon the importance of using genuine ISI marked LPG equipment like stove, hosepipe, pressure regulator, gas lighter, fire retardant apron and others available at authorized LPG distributors. A quiz competition was also conducted to test the knowledge gained by the school children from this clinic and prizes were given to the winners.
Meanwhile, the same clinic was also conducted at M/s. Zinyu Gas Agency on May 31 to educate the consumers about safe use of LPG.
