WMK, Ao Union Kohima grateful

Watsü Mongdang, Kohima unit Wednesday expressed gratitude to NGOs, civil societies and individuals for extending support to its protest rally against the attempt on the life of M Imtila Jamir on May 27.
WMK in particular thanked the Angami Public Organisation, without whose cooperation and support, the rally could not have been successful, it said.
WKM also expressed deep gratitude to the Naga Mothers’ Association, Nagaland State Commission for Women, Eastern Naga Women Organization, Tenyimia Women Association, Angami Women Organization, Sumi Totimi hoho, Kohima Lotha Eloe hoho, Kohima Eastern Naga Gazetted Officers’ Association, Angami Youth Organization, Ao Senden, Mokokchung, Watsu Mongdang, Mokokchung, NSF, KVYO and AKM.
WKM also expressed gratitude to district administration and police force for their cooperation.
It also expressed regrets, if there was any inconveniences caused to general public during the procession.
WKM also expressed the belief that all responsible organisations and authority would continue to extend support to uproot and eradicate such “atrocious elements” from the society.
KAO: Kohima Ao Union also expressed its sincere gratitude to all the responsible bodies, dignitaries and well-wishers and the people of the state who extended their support during the “silent procession” organized by the Watsü Mundang Wednesday against the attempt on the life of Imtila Jamir May 27 last.
Meanwhile, the union has also cautioned that it would take further course of action if law enforcing agency failed to meet the demands of the Aos within stipulated time of ten days.
