ANCSF meeting: All Nagaland Co-operative Societies Federation (ANCSF) has convened a meeting on June 8, 10:30am at ANCSF head office, near PWD junction Kohima to discuss regarding the ICDP and NCDC.
NYO informs: Namgalong Youth Organization (NYO) has informed all citizens of colony and youths to get their photographs for E/rolls on June 8, 9am at public college of commerce.
UBCA emergency executive meeting: United Baptist Churches Association, North East India (UBCA, NEI) has convened an emergency executive meeting on June 4, 9am at UBC Balijan near LRC Dimapur.
SOUDA general meeting: Shena Old Union Dimapur Area (SOUDA) has convened a general meeting on June 4, 9am at the residence of its union banker.

PYS & BST fasting: Patanjali Yog Samiti & Bharat Swabhiman Trust (PYS & BST) Dimapur unit would be organizing a fasting on June 4 from 8am to 5pm at the office premises, near Naga Council building Dimapur. In a press release issued by organizing committee, the fasting would be in support of Param Poojya Swami Randevji Maharaj, who would be initiating Sathyagrah from June 4 at Ramlila Maidan and Jantar Mantar, Delhi against corruption and to recover black money stashed away in foreign countries.

INTCWS awareness generation program: India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS) Notun bosti Dimapur would be organizing an awareness generation programme from June 4 in different places with the sponsorship by central social welfare board, New Delhi, under the state social welfare board, Kohima on different themes, domestic violence and abuse, human trafficking, adolescent girls, women rights and women as homemaker.

WSBAK working women seminar held: Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhuo Kuqhakulu (WSBAK) women department conducted a working women seminar on May 28 at Youth Oasis center. Kakheli I.Zhimo, women leader DSBA spoke on the topic, balancing home and professional life and stewardship: Our profession as God’s call’. Rev Henije Zhimo, Chaplin centre church WSBAK presented a paper on tithing: meaning and significance. EO Kiphire on PMEGP forms: Executive officer, Kiphire has informed that forms for Prime Minister Employment Generation Scheme (PMEGP) for the year 2011-12 would be issued on June 7 and 8 from the office .

Issue of PMEGP forms: PMEGP interested applicants of Peren district have been informed that PMEGP forms for 2011-12 would be issued on June 2 and 3. Candidates are asked to bring two passport size photos for availing the form. Forms will be made available at District Industries Centre (DIC) Peren during office hour.
Kiphire DPDB: Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting would be conducted on June 6 at 11am in the office chamber of the deputy commissioner, Kiphire.

ANGDA meeting: All Nagaland Government Drivers’ Association (ANGDA) has convened central executive meeting on June 11 at 10am at the Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union conference hall, PWD junction Kohima. All executive members including ND & DGDU and NSDU have been requested to attend the meeting with their nominees for audit. ANGDA has further directed the departments’ representatives to bring along their membership fee.
Culture programme
Dimapur: Department of Art and Culture, Govt. of Nagaland, Kohima in collaboration with NEZCC Dimapur would be organizing a programme “Faces of Culture through the Stages” on June 4 at Panchayat Hall, Chuchuyimpang village, Mokokchung at 10am. Theatre artistes from Mokokchung district would be presenting different plays during the one day programme. The programme would be graced by Lendinokdang, president, Ao Senden, Mokokchung.
DC directs gas agencies to resume LPG home delivery
DIMAPUR: Dimapur deputy commissioner Maongwati Aier has directed all gas agencies to resume home delivery system of LPG cylinders and to do away with point delivery system.
Deputy commissioner has also requested deputy manager LPG cylinder (IOC) Dimapur to extend assistance and cooperation for effective home delivery system of LPG cylinder by various gas agencies in Dimapur.
The deputy commissioner issued this directiveon receiving complaints that home delivery system of LPG cylinders were not made appropriately by the gas agencies.
