Health camp at Satoi Village

Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland (IRCSN) in collaboration with Zunheboto district branch IRCS conducted health camp on May 31 at Satoi Village, one of the most remote village under Zunheboto district.
Altogether 318 patients were treated and provided free medicine and tooth extraction was done on 15 patients.
The state branch IRCS team consisted of the following officials Zakie Kire, General Secretary IRCSN, Helena Yepthomi M.C member Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland, Kholie Dolf M.C Member Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland, Nyimtseno Pienyu UDA IRCSN, Aja Zinyü, ICRC programme coordinator and staff and IRCS Zunheboto district branch was represented by Kashito Sema, honorary secretary Zunheboto district branch and office assistant was led by H. Hesso, vice-chairman, IRCSN.
The doctors, nurses and other medical personnel team included Dr. Nitovi, Dr. Simon, dental surgeon both from Civil Hospital Zunhetoto, Dr. Akaho, medicine specialist PHC Shurohuto, Dr. Piloto PHC Aghunato and nurses Ghovili, Kasheli, Kaili, Akali and pharmacist Hocto. Short speeches were delivered by GB of Satoi village Kughai Ayemi.
Inaugurating the health camp as chief guest, H. Hesso, Vice-chairman Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland who is also the president of Sumi Hoho expressed happiness for being able to conduct medical camp in the remotest village like Satoi village.
He also appreciated Kaito Ayemi, minister for road and bridges for providing food and accommodation for the medical team during the camp and Kughai Ayemi GB Satoi village for giving all the necessary support.
Zakie Kire, general secretary IRCSN expressed gratitude to doctors, nurses and other medical personnel for rendering their services, deputy commissioner Zunheboto for providing rooms in DC’s Rest House at Zunheboto for the state branch team, Ashito Kiba family and Zunheboto town citizens for hosting dinner for the IRCS state branch team.
