NPYC officials visit Rurur village

Reciprocating to the invitation made by the public and elders of Rurur Village under Shamatore area, officials of the NPYC attended a social gathering programme on May 25 with Dokiu Kecham, vice president NPYC as special guest.
While welcoming the Youth Congress officials, Hankiu 2nd Head GB, Rurur Village emphasized on the importance of public unity and co-operations towards solving various challenges ahead of them and thanked Kecham for his valuable presence on the said occasion.
In his key note address, Kecham acknowledged the warm welcome accorded to the visiting NPYC officials and called upon the people to come forward on one platform and stand united with a common objective.
Divulging on a broadly based presentation, he impressed upon the gathering that, Nagas are well known anywhere outside for being a benevolent community whose warm approach and hospitalities stood second to none in attitude and principles ranging in all aspects.
In his concluding speech, Kecham thanked the public and elders of Rurur village for the unity and co-operation and inviting him to grace the social gathering programme as special guest. Others who spoke during the occasion include Y. Joseph, president GB’s Federation, Shamatore area, Shelim Khiam, president, DYC, Tuensang and Asoba, Gen. Secy ACC 58th Samathore A/C.
