The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Saturday stated that action of “mindless perpetrators” who hurled a bomb inside the shop and unidentified miscreants who attacked Inavi/Naga united village for “selfish motive” deserved condemnation in the highest form by all irrespective of caste, tribe, creed or colour including all political parties.
The NPF, through its press bureau, also extended condolences to bereaved family members of the deceased and injured in the “unfortunate incidents” of June 30. NPF said it was unfortunate that unscrupulous miscreants created such panic, commotion and loss of precious human lives through their barbaric acts despite government’s efforts towards building up a social and political order based on justice, peace and harmony.
The bureau said nevertheless the government did not waste any time in handling the situation and the prompt and careful investigation of the administration and police, with the support of the people, things were very much under control.
Assuring that culprits would be brought to light at the earliest, for this the NPF said the government had constituted a high level probe committee.
However, the bureau said “not withstanding that bomb blasts and killings are almost daily incidents taking place in our neighbouring Congress ruled states of Manipur or Assam, the NPCC’s habitual ill remarks on the DAN government and attempt to grab any thing for political mileage only exposes their unduly selfish and irresponsible attitude.”
