All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) has condemned the killing of Inashe chairman and Vikheshe, assistant GB of Naga United Village (Inavi) and also injuring two villagers critically on June 30. Terming the incident as barbaric and an act of cowardice, the union stated the incident should be condemned by every right thinking Nagas as efforts have been made by every Naga brothers for the Naga peace and reconciliation.
SKK also appealed the state government to look into the matter seriously and deliver justice at the earliest before the situation goes out of hand. Strongly upholding the six point resolution adopted by the Western Sumi Hoho (WSH), SKK appealed to its members to give unflinching support to the said resolution.
In a separate release, Sumi Aphuyemi Kuqhakulu (SAKD) has also condemned the attack perpetrated on Inavi villagers on June 30.
SAKD while condemning the assassination of a GB and a village chairman of Inavi village and the torture, abduction and attempted murder of several villagers, asserted nobody has the right to “take justice into their own hands and commit atrocious violence on human being”. SAKD further urged the law enforcing agencies to spare no effort to bring the culprits to justice at the earliest.
