Accusing the state government of providing security and transportation to the members of “Kehoi camp” (from Kehoi- Zunheboto), the NSCN/GPRN (Khaplang) has demanded that the government clarify to the Nagas on what basis it was providing such security arrangements.
A statement issued by the MIP claimed that while leading members were transported to Kehoi camp, the remaining armed members, about 30, were dropped off at Zunheboto led by one “major” Hevito Sumi of Alaphuni village.
It further alleged that the state government was “well aware” that Kehoi campers were only a “mere collection of renegades/ defectors and expelled members from the NSCN/GPRN”, adding they in no manner represent “Naga political struggle.”
“The Kehoi campers are neither political entities nor a recognized institution of the Nagas,” the MIP stated.
