The BJP state unit has flayed the central government for the frequent price rise and corruption in the country.
State unit BJP alleged that due to wrong economic policies in dealing with pricing policy, the common man has been facing ultimate consequences with continuous price hike of oil product-petrol, diesel, LPG and K. oil, adversely affecting other prices of essential commodities. “The popular slogan of the Congress for ‘Aam Adami’ (common man) has no more significance but a mere symbolic gesture”, stated state unit BJP.
BJP Nagaland Spokesman, K. James Vizo in a press release said the Supreme Court appointed a Special Investigation team (SIT) headed by former SC judge to probe issues concerning black money on July 4, adding it was a positive step and urged external pressures not to interfere with the SIT.
State unit BJP further accused the UPA government for deceiving the people of Telengana, despite announcing to create a separate Telengana State on December 9, 2009.
This according to the state BJP was nothing but showing the “true color” of the UPA and their “double standard policy” which resulted in resignation of 10 congress MPS and 39 congress MLAs including 11 ministers and 34 TDP MLAs.
It further asked the central government to bring a bill for formation of separate State of Telengana in the coming parliament session, adding the NDA had already pledged to support the bill.
