NPCC impasse with AICC disciplinary action committee- S.I Jamir

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee President S.I Jamir claimed that the ongoing impasse in the party over expulsion of former NPCC president I. Imkong was with the party All India Congress Committee disciplinary committee and that the party was awaiting written response from the party high command.
He also admitted that the ultimate appellate authority was the AICC and that the NPCC was unable to give any final decision as of now.
“Whatever decision the party has taken here, the finale decision vested on the AICC”, he said.
It may be mentioned that the NPCC decided to sack former Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee President I Imkong over the allegation of anti-party activities after the controversial party election.
Former NPCC president I Imkong who was summoned by the All India Congress Committee however denied the same allegation.
A delegation of the NPCC has been camping in Delhi to assert its decision, while former NPCC President I Imkong was summoned by the AICC to Delhi recently according to sources.
The internal bickering and tussle for leadership inside the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee which is presently in the opposition however resulted has set a bad precedence in the party as many view it as a submission to the ruling NPF led DAN Government.
