A huge cache of ammunitions were recovered after Borlongfer Police busted a militant hideout inside Dilangki reserved forest, police said Thursday.
The raid was carried out on Wednesday and a motor cycle without registration number was also recovered from the site.
7 nos. of live ammunitions, 14 nos. empty cartridges of 12 bore gun, 40 nos. pellets (ammunition), army dresses, ammunition of AK-47 and two live rounds of 9mm pistol were recovered.
It can be mentioned that the camp was constructed by laborers who were working for an irrigation project and was abandoned after the completion of the project in April last.
