Longsa adopted as cooperative model village

Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB) Ltd Wokha branch conducted a banking awareness camp on June 21 at Longsa village, Wokha district.
A press release issued by Imtilemba Longkumer General manager (ID) said that Longsa village has been adopted as the cooperative model village where the bank would provide various schemes to the members of the village in all areas and sectors like cooperative societies, trade and commerce, individuals and groups, schools and churches, public and entrepreneurs and farmers club.
The bank would also aid members in various loans and advances as well as subsidy linked scheme with 33.3% back ended subsidy on dairy, piggery, poultry, sheep and goatery and rabbit rearing for self sufficiency in food production through NABARD. Further, Longkumer said a MoU was signed for adoption of Longsa village as a model village between the village council and Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd where the bank would assist all possible aids for the development of the village in various agriculture and allied sectors.
