Notes of gratitude

KMC: The administrator, advisory committee members and staff of Kohima municipal council expressed gratitude to all colonies of Kohima, DEF Kohima, 4th NAP Thizama, president and colleagues of Nagaland contractors & suppliers union, Muslim welfare society and various departments for successful participation in the mass social work at Kohima on June 25.
KMC particularly thanked chief minister for his initiative and encouragement to keep the town healthy and clean.
Bharat Scouts & Guides, Wokha: Wokha district Bharat Scouts and Guides have expressed gratitude to VIPs for supporting them financially, materially, and physically during the trekking and plantation cum observation of “World Environment Day” in commemoration of forthcoming ‘World Girls Guiding’ held on June 4 at Government Mt. Tiyi College, Wokha campus and Doyang Hydro Electric Project DHEP, Wokha.
It specially expressed gratitude to chief guest Y. Lotha, DFO Doyang for donating `5000 and 150 numbers of saplings, Chubatola Longkumer principal Mt. Tiyi College and vice president BS&G Wokha for arranging special refreshment for 55 scouts and guides, Sejongmong Sangtam SP Wokha for arranging bus service for the day long program and Rovilatuo Mor DC and district president Bharat S&G Wokha for giving permission to organize the district level international programme.
Kutsapo village: Kutsapo village has expressed gratitude to Mikha Lomi deputy commissioner Phek, his subordinate officers and ATMA managing committee of Phek district for selecting Kutsapo village as RKVY scientific farm through ATMA Phek district under agriculture production commissioner, Nagaland.
TU Pfutsero town: Truck Union (TU) Pfutsero town under Phek district has expressed gratitude to the public of Pfutsero town, nearby villages, police personnel led by OC Pfutsero, SDPO Pfutsero, the owners of the two recovery vans Raman Kristen and Shilla, and those who extended help in rescuing the mini truck bearing number NL-08A-1424 belonging to Shanyo Domeh of Pfutsero town on June 22. Kewete Mero president TU Pfutsero and Zhopota Kezo secretary said the mini truck which was carrying goods from Dimapur to Pfutsero town rolled down about 40-50 feet below the main road due to landslide on June 21. Meanwhile, the owner of the truck, Shanyo Domeh also expressed gratitude to all citizens, police personnel, Truck Union (TU) Pfutsero town, owner of recovery van and JCB, Zhavame Union Pfutsero Town and passersby.
PASU: Phomching area students’ union (PASU)has expressed gratitude to 100 RCC GREF for constructing and maintaining the road from Mon to Longwa village.
Lions Club of Dimapur Blue Vanda: Lions Club of Dimapur Blue Vanda has thanked A. Ato Yepthomi the Advisor of NPF & President of NMDA and Tokheli Kikon Advisor of DMC for attending summer mela on June 19 as chief guest and guest of honor respectively.
The mela was organised under the leadership of Khakali Zhimomi and the project chairman Anjali Roy Choudhary. At the end of the Mela, a ruffle lucky draw was also held where first, second and third prizes including five consolation prizes were declared. All winners have been asked to claim it within 7 days from the day of this release.
SY: Sutemi Youth (SY) has expressed gratitude to katovi (S) Chishi former president Akuluto Range Students’ Union (ARSU) for mending the approach road from Sutemi to Akuluto town. Further, the youth wished him luck for his future endeavors.
SCC Wokha: Suren Colony Council (SCC) Wokha town has expressed gratitude to minister for agriculture Dr. Chumben Murry for donating a sum of `80,000/- towards Suren Colony Council. SCC further expressed hope that more development activities as well as sensitizing work would be carried out around the colony in the future.
G-II WVU: Ghaspani – II West Villages Union (G-II WVU) has expressed gratitude to G. Kaito Aye, minister for road and bridges Nagaland for constructing an approach road at Kuki Baptist Association Minision Centre, Khaibung Nagaland. G-II WVU said the work had been executed under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, chief minister and under the supervision of executive engineer, PWD (R&B) Dimapur division.
DIS Peren: Office of the Deputy Inspector of Schools (DIS) Peren has expressed gratitude to the director SCERT Kohima for conducting English language training for subject teachers under the establishment of DIS Peren on June 20-24 at EBRC Peren and for delegating two resource persons Akala and Kethokhrienuo. DIS said that the training benefited the teaching community in particular and students in general and appealed the department to conduct the same even in the future so as to update the knowledge of the teachers and enhance the quality of education
JTTU: Jalukie Town Traders Union (JTTU) has expressed gratitude to Iherie Ndang, SP Peren for deputing IRB personnel to control anti-social activities in Jalukie town with regard to safety and security of the public. Ipeigwangbe Zeliang, vice president and Tingyiheing, general secretary JTTU said the presence of IRB personnel monitoring the town has brought about a peaceful environment and the business community was indebted to him.
Meanwhile, JTTU also expressed regret viewing the rundown government office buildings and poor attendance of staff in Jalukie and called upon all to sincerely strive for excellence in their respective fields.
Longkhipheh village council: Longkhipheh village council has expressed gratitude to ATMA Tuensang and deputy director, Vikishe for organizing an exposure trip to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. LVC said the village councils of the 8 blocks had a fruitful trip and lauded MP, CM Chang for listening to the grievances faced by the people of Tuensang.
The MP assured the team that their grievances including the pathetic road condition of NH 155 would soon be looked at, added LVC.
